One of the few universal experiences that absolutely everybody goes through on a semi-regular basis is boredom. 

Feeling not amused happens more easily for some than for others, but rest assured that almost everybody is capable of experiencing it. As many parents used to say, a little boredom can be good for you; it is a mood that can get you thinking, and as a result, give us some genuine innovation. A lot of the time, though, it is just yet another annoyance in an existence that tends to be full of them. Especially in this day and age, we want entertainment, and we want it now.
